    Description

    Vintage Bavarian porcelain Child's or Demitasse Whimsical Tea Set, very unique with white haired and bearded elf? watering flowers, musical instruments, watering cans, balls, butterflies and ducks decorate the cups, saucers, Tea pot, sugar and plates. Not sure if for children or a demitasse set but it is a great set and very unique. The Tea or Coffee pot is 7" tall, sugar is 4" tall, plates are 6" wide, Cups are 1 5/8" H x 3" wide, saucers 4 7/8" wide. All have white background with gold trim and whimsical transfers as shown. All marked on the bottom in green with Bavaria, flower, Schirnding 31, circa 1948 I believe. The set includes Tea or Coffee Pot, covered Sugar, 6 cups, 5 saucers and 5 plates. A wonderful set.
