Vintage American Van Briggle Brown With Gray Over-Glaze Vase. What I know about this Vase:
It belonged to my late Aunt, she passed in the 1970's. I believe my aunt acquired the Vase in the 1950-60s time frame. The Vase is in Beautiful MINT Condition, no cracks, chips, or grazing. The Vase is 6" High, it's Base Diameter 2", it's Top Diameter 2-1/2". The Clay Vase Weighs One Pound. My 9th and 12th photos were taken with flash, mostly for better focus. I have tried to determine its authenticity by googling Van Briggle...not so easy, at least for this Oldman! I cannot quite make out all the bottom markings, but I'm sure people who know about these Creatures will be more informed. To my knowledge it's not fake, I've been in possession of the Vase since 1986.
