Van Briggle Pottery Twisted Vase with Pointed Rim, Persian Rose
Lovely vase in a twisted form with pointed "ears" at the rim. Hard to find shape. Persian Rose glaze is a rosy shade of maroon with a blue overspray; this glaze replaced the darker mulberry in 1946. The finisher's mark and color dates this piece to the 1960s.
Condition:  No chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. A few light spots in the glaze, nothing distracting.
Marks:  Incised conjoined A's, Van Briggle Colo. Spgs., finisher's mark "G" for Gladys Baker.
Dimensions:  9 1/2" high, 8 1/2" wide, 3 1/2" deep.
