    DESCRIPTION:
    Vintage large Van Briggle American art pottery Native American Indian head vase with a brown and green glaze.  This has a darkish looking underside sometimes called a "dirty bottom" which is usually associated with Van Briggle pottery produced around the 1920s and 1930s.

    :
    In good to very good antique preowned condition free from cracks, crazing, scratches, and repairs.
    However, there is a small obvious chip to the bottom under-edge of the foot (see photos).
    MEASUREMENTS:
    Approximate maximum top diameter is 3 1/4 inches and the height is about 11 1/8 inches.
