For QUICKER gear ratio (quicker off the line, quicker roll on's), use a 14 tooth front/44t Rear Sprocket
(the -1t front sprocket change is versatile because you can change to the stock ratio size 15t with same chain,
Your highway speed cruising rpm's will be
slightly
higher than with stock gearing, andl top speed will be reduced.
For Exact OEM DRZ400s gear ratio...   use a 15t tooth Front Sprocket /44t Rear
OEM Ratio is the Factory Suzuki Calculated best all around gearing, with the least amount of compromise on top end or bottom end acceleration
For FREEWAY gear ratio (lower top gear cruising rpm's, higher top speed), use a 15 tooth front /41t Rear Sprocket
Your highway speed cruising rpm's will be
lower
than with stock gearing, and top speed will be increased, but.. with slower low rpm throttle response.
