OSHA estimates tens of thousands of employees are injured or killed annually due to forklift accidents. In 1999, because of serious concerns about forklift accidents, injuries and deaths, OSHA updated its regulation regarding Powered Industrial Trucks. This regulation is 29 CFR 1910.178. This training program is designed to assist employers in meeting these training and safety requirements.

This training kit contains an 28 minute training video, complete Leader's Guide, Safety Manual, and Power Point Presentation on one DVD disc. Complete Leader's Guide contains the following printable items: Program Outline, Copy of OSHA Standard(s), Quiz & Answer Key, Training Log, Employee Certificate, Wallet Cards, and Site Specific Information. Place disc into DVD player to play video or place the disc into your computer to access the printable materials as well as the Power Point Presentation.
