Original Late WW2 Dated Olive Drab OD HBT General Purpose Strap - Mint

These are brand new (old stock), Second World War dated original olive drab cotton general purpose straps, all of which have wartime manufacturing stamps on them. Unlike most wartime straps, these were made from reinforced, double thickness HBT cotton fabric. This may have been a wartime cost-saving measure, or they might have been produced for a specific type of pouch. They have late war spring clips on both ends. These came in wooden crates from an old US Army warehouse facility and were in the supply system at one point. All stamps are identical, although placement and quality of the stamp may very slightly.
