Homage To Tutankhamen Kaiser Porcelain Bowl.
This is a marvelous limited-edition collector’s piece by Kaiser of Staffelstein, made of the finest Bavarian Porcelain. It is titled "Homage to Tutankhamun", and was created exclusively for the Ghent Collection of West Germany dated 1979. The beautiful illustrations are the creations of the artist Gerhard Fuetterer, and the piece is signed by this artist on the underside. Each bowl is individually numbered, as there were only 5000 made. This bowl is number 423.
These bowls were painted in pure 24 karat gold paint, and 6 separate ceramic colors. This bowl is in excellent condition .The bottom of the inside of the bowl has two lone gold symbols, and the remainder of the inside is white with a gold and blue border. The diameter of this bowl is 10" at the rim, and it stands 4 3/4" high.
