GDA France Limoges Hand Painted Flowers Gold Circle Handles Creamer Sugar Bowl

A Gerard, Dufraisseix & Abbot of Limoges France handpainted porcelain creamer and lidded sugar bowl set with the rare gold circle handles in the Art Nouveau style. The set is painted with pink roses, green foliage, and dark pink scrolls that are embellished in a moriage style of white dots and outlines. There are areas of painted pale blue background on the white porcelain. Even the area beneath the creamer spout is painted with a rose. Double circle handles are in gold and there is gold trim on the creamer spout rim. No cracks or chips, only minor wear. This set is most likely painted blanks, no artist signature, but it makes them unique. The circle handles indicate very early versions, circa 1900s. Creamer measures approx. 4.25" long x 3.5" wide at widest x 3.25" tall. Bowl with lid measures approx. 5.5" wide with handles x 3.25" tall.

Items are thoroughly cleaned/washed.
