Peaked and Tuned This Radio Was Tricked OUT!
The last new model from Galaxy is an AM/SSB model built for simplicity, the DX86V:
1) Same chassis as the new DX55F and DX66V2 - mid size, front mic with frequency counter but with added SSB.
2) Fine/coarse clarifier, automatic SWR circuit with SWR alert LED.
3) No Echo, no +10KHz switch, no PA, no FM, no Roger Beep.
Because Galaxy was limited on space with the small size, this has way less features than the DX99V2, however, the performance is exactly the same.
This radio is very simple to understand and use.'
