FRIEDRICH KAESTNER Oberhohndorf Germany Gravy Boat w/ Plate Gray Pink Roses

Description

Friedrich Kaestner gravy boat with attached plate with gray & pink roses, yellow center, gray-pink-green leaves/stems.  Scalloped edge on plate and boat sides, gold trim on both sides of & center of handle.  Colors are bright.  Minor utensil marks, couple of tiny pinpoint dark dots.  Boat/Plate is about 9 inches long, 5.5 inches wide.  Marked on the back with "70004 2902 18" & the Kaestner mark.  No chips/cracks.
I'm listing several other pieces of the same pattern.  The mark on the back of some of the other pieces indicates that the set was made between 1920-1935.
The small 'O/Z' addition which sometimes only appears like a dot over a horizontal line above the letter 'Z' stands for 'Oberhohndorf bei Zwickau' (Oberhohndorf near Zwickau) and was dropped around 1935 as Oberhohndorf became part of the city of Zwickau.
