This listing is for a complete 5 piece place setting in the
Flower Pinion
design. The fine porcelain tableware was manufactured in Japan by
Kakusho
. The pattern has since been discontinued. This pattern features a white body with cobalt blue floral and bands. Each place setting includes the following:
(1) 10-3/4" dinner plate
(1) 8" salad plate
(1) 7-1/2" rim soup bowl
(1) 8 ounce capacity cup
(1) 6-1/8" saucer
THE MAIN COURSE
You'll find these all of these dishes to to be,
at worst
, in near-mint condition with only
extremely
minimal, virtually nonexistent, and infinitesimal surface wear.
(If I see even a single utensil mark or the most insignificant scratch, I don't list an item as mint.)
Any
utensil mark or scratch that may exist is "clean" and not the dark dingy gray scuff marks that are so common - the center is pure white. many of the items are in mint, like new condition with absolutely no surface wear at all. Whether mint or near-mint, the
decor is pristine and unblemished, the colors are vibrant with no fading or discoloration, and the glaze shines like new. Additionally, all of the pieces are completely free of cracks, chips, nicks, crazing, stains, repairs, permanent hard water deposits, and detergent residue
.
These place settings are in
far better
condition than what is typically considered to be "excellent" or "gently used".
