FABULOUS SET/6 ANTIQUE CAULDON ENGLAND PORCELAIN GILDED DESSERT PLATES, pre-1904

THIS LISTING IS FOR A GORGEOUS SET OF SIX (6) ANTIQUE CAULDON ENGLAND DESSERT PLATES, c. LATE 1800s.
THESE PLATES HAVE BEAUTIFUL COLORATION WITH INTRICATE DETAILS. DESIGN FEATURES HAND-PAINTED FLORALS WITH THREE BOUQUETS LINKED TOGETHER WITH ELABORATE SWAGS  INTERTWINED WITH A GARLAND OF FLOWERS ON A CREAM BACKGROUND. THERE IS A GREEN DECORATIVE BAND SEPARATING THE BORDER DECORATION FROM THE PURE WHITE CENTER OF THE PLATE. THE SCALLOPED OUTSIDE EDGE HAS A MOLDED GADROON PATTERN WITH HEAVY GILT EMBELLISHMENT.
FIVE OF THE PLATES ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR REPAIRS. ONE HAS A SMALL NICK AND HAIRLINE (SEE PHOTOS).THERE IS RUBBING TO THE GILDED RAISED EDGE NO OTHER NOTED FLAWS. THE PLATES APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN VERY SELDOM USED AND REFLECT MINIMAL SIGNS OF ANY WEAR.
MEASURES 9" IN DIAMETER.
EACH PLATE
IS MARKED WITH GREEN FACTORY TRADEMARK STAMP READING "EST. 1774, CAULDON CHINA, ENGLAND" WITH "v" AND "8087" BELOW. THIS MARK WAS USED BY CAULDON PRIOR TO 1904.
