Description

Ergonomics is the process of designing work areas to be user friendly, using tools and equipment to reduce strain and/or repetitive motions and teaching employees proper work methods, correct posture and safe lifting techniques. Ergonomics training will increase productivity, decrease illness and injuries and increase satisfaction among the workforce. Ergonomic risk factors are found in jobs requiring repetitive, forceful, or prolonged exertions of the hands; frequent or heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying of heavy objects; and prolonged awkward postures.  These risk factors can lead to health problems known as Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs).  This program addresses the following:

We have two versions of Ergonomics Training available: Industrial and Office. The information is similar in both courses and we suggest you purchase only the version most appropriate for your business. This is the office version.
This training kit contains an 20 minute training video, complete Leader's Guide, Safety Manual, and Power Point Presentation on one DVD disc. Complete Leader's Guide contains the following printable items: Program Outline, Quiz & Answer Key, Training Log, Employee Certificate, Wallet Cards, and Site Specific Information. Place disc into DVD player to play video and place the disc into your computer to access the printable materials as well as the Power Point Presentation.
Training kits are also available in Spanish with Spanish student material and English Instructor material. Please specify if you would like Spanish.
