* EF Johnson Viking II AM/CW transmitter, rebuild started
* Unit stripped to chassis, Chassis cleaned, degreased, scrubbed, dents removed
* All terminal strips replaced
* Tube socket replacement underway.
* HV & LV rectifier tube sockets replaced with amphenol units.
* All tube sockets replaced
* Under-chassis re-wire approximately 20% complete.
* So far, in the wiring rebuild, we have found 6 un-soldered connections and two mis-wires.
* Tube heater wiring circuit completed
* Tube heater circuit test
* Bias rectifier and divider circuit test
* Top of chassis shield installed
* IEC three conductor AC Line cord installed
* Power (heater) panel switch circuit tested
* HV power transformer installed
* HV filter capacitor/bleeder assembly installed
* Microphone input circuit wiring completed
* Clamp circuit resistor mounted on chassis
* RF Oscillator & Buffer circuitry wiring completed
* PA Tuning components support bar replaced ( we use copper bar for this)
* PTT module installed and tested
* Voltage Regulator / Driver/ Bias module installed
* RF amplifier section installed
* PA Tubes sockets wiring installed
* Roller Inductor input shaft extended bushing installed
* PA tuning and loading capacitors installed
* New drive potentiometer installed, control wiring installed
* HV Choke, Modulation transformer, LV choke installed
* LV +300VDC regulator circuit test
* Adjustable modulator bias circuit tested
* LV circuit test
* +300V distribution circuitry tested
* PA shunt HV choke installed, shunt choke bypass capacitors and safety choke installed
* HV rectifier (2) heater circuit tested
* PTT module function test from panel mic connector.
* Modulation transformer installed
* Installed AC line fuse holder and fuse, 6A 3AG SB, for  (T2) HV transformer
* Installed temporary panel meter
* Replaced + common contact on meter switch
* RF amplifier chain circuit tested up to PA Grid. Metering and levels test: Osc,Buff,Grid metering tested.Circuit tested with 40 meter crystal .
* All transformers installed with vibration proof hardware stack: 8-32 machine screw, internal tooth lock washer, 3/8" X #8 washer, 3/4" X #8 washer, #8 keps nut.
* Modulator microphone preamplifier circuit tested to modulator tube grids. Mic gain contol circuit tested
* T2 Primary circuit tested with "Plate"switch and PTT relay.
* Installed RF output cable assembly ( RG/8AU)
* Power pilot lamp ( LED Assembly) installed and tested
* Modulator tubes anode components installed
* Installed VFO Input cable assembly
* Installed new PA suppressor assemblies (2) and new PA Plate/PA RF Choke interconnect assembly
* Electronic rebuild complete, waiting on panel re-paint & re-decal.
