Hand Painted Serving Platter or Tray with Set 6 Matching Plates Plates Marked
Presented is a large colorful tray or platter with a matching set of 6 plates with a great hand painted design of a pheasants or roosters in various positions marked for Chelsea Porcelain Ceramic of England. They are in beautiful condition with only some minor chipping, some past repair on the platter and very visibly on one plate, some crazing and some fine scratches from use and care. While this set would not be recommended for food use, it is elegant set for almost any decor or setting for the collector of Antique fine ceramic and porcelain ware.

Measure
:
Platter - 16 3/8” inches across, 2 1/8” inches high, 2 ½” apron surround, 9 ½” inch across interior basin of bowl.
Plates - 10 3/8” inches across, 1 3/8” inches high, 6 5/8” incesh across interior basin.
Weight
:
Platter - 4 pounds 8 ounces on my postal scale
Plates – 7 pounds 9 ounces on my postal scale
Marks:
a crown with a mixed letter ER mark.
Condition:
some minor chipping some,
past repair visible or obvious on the platter and on one plate, crazing on all pieces, some fine scratches from use and care.
