Up for sale is a rare SEALED 7 inch vinyl of the new David Bowie single released on his birthday on January 8th. It features 2 cover songs by David’s friend and one time collaborator John Lennon with his song Mother in the A side. The B side is Bob Dylan’s song Tryin’ To Get To Heaven. Both of these songs are previously unreleased and only on this single. It was limited to 8147 copies (for his birthday 8 January ‘47) and this copy is numbered 7253. These were available online for about 1 hour and quickly sold out.
