For over 60 years I've had a personal motto,

The ART-13 is one of my all time favorite transmitters.
From my base with the Air Force in Freising Germany, I was able to stay in touch with the States using my ART-13 and my Hammarlund SP600JX17.
I still have them and four more ART-13s.
As always, with machines over 70 years old, they do require maintenance.
I’ve found that color coding the schematic and the various electronic sections makes trouble shooting much, much easier and much less prone to errors.
This, along with the CD's information included here is so valuable to me that I’ve decided to share it with those who might need it.
The CD had much information including operation manuals,
maintenance manuals, many articles,
installation pictures, modification manuals, articles from the ART-13 designers, etc. etc.
The laminated picture also makes beautiful art work for those who collect these wonderful BAs like myself.
I'm a a retired electrical engineer, professor and Ham Radio operator since the early '50s as W7YEN.
I've owned my Collins ART-13 since the late '50s when I was in the Air Force.
I found it to be one of the absolute best transmitters with full AM modulation.
I've increased the labeling and added new color coding and other enhancements to the schematic.
This greatly increases the visual usability when doing trouble shooting and modifications.
Shaded and colored areas now show each separate sub-sections.
I've completely rebuilt my ART-13 transmitters and they work perfectly.
I also create DataCharts for many Transceivers and Handhelds in both small and large formats.
You won't find an airline pilot, during take-off, thumbing through a 200 page manual on
