A rare vintage 1962 Faema President 2 Group Lever espresso machine in semi-restored condition fully functioning.

We've decided to do a complete restoration on this bringing it back to mint condition. This will be completed in the next 2 weeks and anyone who purchases the machine before completion understands that we will only ship when completed.
Before the days of pumps, Baristas had, IMO, better tools to extract the liquid gold then majority of the machines today. The shots are sweet and chocolatey with clear notes hard to replicate on modern machines. Not only is the espresso on another level, the machines themselves are beautiful pieces of art which should be showcased as the star in the room.
The other part of the experience is the romance and user experience when making an espresso on a lever machine. I often refer to this as the romance of pulling a shot, the envolvment in the process is no more connected than that of a lever. The feeling of having full physical control of creating 9 bars of pressure, control of the pre-infusion time is an exhillerating experience one has to experience if this is your true love. The romance is back when  pulling a shot on a lever espresso machine.
Many panels have been re-chromed and look amazing. There are a couple pieces which still need refinishing:  the legs, 2 top trim pieces and covers for the groups. There is a chip in the rear glass piece and chip on one of the trim pieces filled.
This is direct plumb currently operating on 240V 15A. It can be converted to 120V 22A.
