1960 -1970s Lee Evans Meet Worn Used Adidas Track Shoes Spikes MEARS Olympic

Description

This is an Adidas left track shoe attributed to Lee Evans, former world record holder in the 400 meters and Mexico City Olympic gold medalist.  The shoe is very heavily worn and the red or maroon color has bled onto the laces and the stripes.  The blue rubber sole has 6 metal spikes.  Adidas began used the Trefoil logo in 1972 and this shoe doesn't have it, so it would have been used prior to 1972.
