  • Type: Parallel Strainer System
  • Condition: The parallel assembly is from a late 70's Tama Imperialstar King Beat snare drum. The assembly is the 3-point variety snare drums, from the late 70's without the exterior rails, just a single rail inside. This is a working assembly with with an original set of snare wires. There are a couple of small issues. Each of the two 3-point mounts have one broken-off(common) screw boss(pic 4). I've included two longer Tama Screws and there is still plenty of thread left, these mount just fine(see pic 6 shell not included). There is also a non-original screw(pic 10) on the outside of the assembly, it has a Philips head, not a flat head like it's supposed to. The nut on the other side of the unoriginal screw is hexagonal not square. The replacement parts work perfectly. There is a little light to medium pitting on the assemblies. I included the correct Alan key to tighten and loosen the rail ends, so you can install the rail easily. I had this assembly working perfectly in a King Beat.

You are bidding on Original Tama Imperialstar, Late 70's King Beat Snare Drum, Parallel Strainer Assembly.
The parallel assembly is from a late 70's Tama Imperialstar King Beat snare drum.
I had this assembly working perfectly in a King Beat, snare drum.  The issues don't affect the use, you could replace the parts, or use the system like it is.
